EVALUATIONSIs your child struggling in school? Unmotivated? Losing confidence? If so, an evaluation is the first step on the road to academic success. My evaluations are thorough and personalized to determine strengths as well as barriers to learning. Test results are used to develop an intervention plan. Early intervention has significant positive impact on academic achievement.

THERAPYMost kids develop normally, but like all of us they periodically encounter problems. I teach kids that emotions are normal, and that all of us at times feel afraid, angry, or sad. I help children to understand their feelings rather than to fear them. Using a problem-solving approach, I develop a treatment plan that may include teaching children coping skills, parent guidance, and collaborating with school staff when appropriate. The methods I use are "evidence-based", meaning they have been proven to be effective by many research studies.
